Lent is a time of prayer and reflection, but guiding students to those things can be difficult. This Lent bulletin board set is a beautiful display that will help your students focus their thoughts on God during the Lenten season.
Filled with acts of kindness, prayers, fasting, gratitude, and more, this bulletin board set will set your students up for a rewarding Lent. Students will complete one “task” each day that will help them open their hearts to God. It will help them stay focused on being prayerful children of God.
Description
A few examples of “tasks”:
- Pray three Our Fathers
- Attend Mass Today (Sundays)
- Try not to complain today
- Read a bible story today
- Encourage your family to pray before dinner
In this download you will receive:
- The letters need to create the bulletin board (black line and purple printing options)
- Heart with the phrase “Open your heart to God this Lent” in black line and red printing options)
- 3 Crosses (one large & two small)
- 46 “tasks” for students to complete during Lent
- 2 student handouts
- Directions on how to print with colored paper suggestions
- A large picture of the finished bulletin board to help with the set up of yours
You will NOT receive:
- The green hill
- The rays of sunlight
- Grey background on the “tasks”
- Star border
Please note: I print my letters our on colored card stock to help the words pop on the black background.
This can also be used as a hallway or door display!
