✝ SAINT OF THE MONTH 🙏 To start the school ye ✝ SAINT OF THE MONTH 🙏 To start the school year my students will learn about St. Rose of Lima- my August saint of the month. This year her feast day is actually on the first day of school. 

During the first week of school students will learn about her life and legacy, and we'll finish up the week by creating a prayer filled craft to hang up in the hallway! 🌹

  • All Saints' Day is a holy day of obligation celebrated each November 1. Honor is special day by having students learn about saints and allowing them to see themselves as saints. Check out my list of fun ways to celebrate this day. These activities are great for 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade.
  • Make All Saints' Day meaningful this year with my 4 activity ideas. These are great for the classroom or for home. Learn about the saints and have children see the saints within themselves. These activities are great for kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. They can also be used with home school families.
  • Use Great Smoky Mountains National Park across your curriculum this school year. Learn how to use the park in your classroom with my 5 easy tips! Great for 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade. Upper elementary students will be highly engaged when you use the national parks!
  • Inspire your students by using Olympic National Park as a teaching tool. This is a great cross-curricular topic that will keep your student engaged and wanting to learn more. The national parks are great for upper elementary grades including 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade.
  • Make math come to life with real world word problems. Use the national parks to review addition, subtraction, multiplication, and long division for 4th grade and 5th grade students. Great for an extension activity and for your early finishers.
